Conservation International
CI is a field-based, nonprofit organization that protects the earth's biologically richest areas and helps the people who live there improve their quality of life. CI uses science, economics, policy, and community involvement to promote biodiversity conservation in tropical rainforests and other endangered ecosystems worldwide.

Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations
The FAO is a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger. Its goal is to achieve food security for all and make sure that people have regular access to enough high quality food to lead active, healthy lives.

Herb Research Foundation
The Herb Research Foundation (HRF) is a nonprofit research and educational organization focusing on herbs and medicinal plants. They help to educate the press, the public, scientists, doctors, legislators and the herb industry about all aspects of botanicals.

Herb Society of America
The society is dedicated to promoting the knowledge, use of, and delight in herbs through educational programs, research, and sharing the experience of its members with the community.

La Guilde des Herboristes
Founded in 1995, following a great desire of Quebec herbalists to meet, share and ensure the continuity of traditional herbalism, the Guilde des herboristes is a nonprofit organization that brings together professionals in traditional herbal medicine and a large number of people who simply love medicinal plants. 

National Health Council
Founded in 1920, the National Health Council brings diverse organizations together to forge consensus and drive patient-centered health policy.

Smithsonian - Plant Conservation Unit
This program coordinates activities and research in the Department of Botany that focus on plant conservation and endangered plant species. In documenting and understanding changes in plant diversity, the Unit gathers and holds data on the conservation status of plant taxa.

The European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy
ESCOP produces reviews of the therapeutic use of leading herbal medicinal products or herbal drug preparations based on scientific evidence and on leading expertise across Europe.

US Pharmacopeia
The USP promotes public health by establishing and disseminating officially recognized quality standards and authoritative information for the use of medicines and other health care technologies by health professionals, patients, and consumers.
