In March 2019 the American Botanical Council published a proprietary botanical ingredient monograph summarizing the scientific and clinical studies of BCM-95^® (also known as Curcugreen^TM), patented extract preparation of turmeric (Curcuma longa) rhizome combined with essential oil of turmeric, standardized to levels of curcuminoids.

Thirteen clinical studies conducted on BCM-95 are reviewed in the monograph. These trials deal with its potential benefits for the following conditions areas:  mental health, joint health, immune health, pain, and cancer chemoprevention.
