Asparagus racemosus is a perennial in the asparagus family (Asparagaceae) and is native to India and the Himalayas. The root is used in Aurvedic formulas to regulate hormones, address menopausal symptoms, stimulate lactation, and increase fertility, as well as a number of additional conditions.
