Cistus x incanus is a hybrid in the Cistaceae family, variously called rock rose or hairy/hoary rock rose. Traditionally, it has been used to treat fever, diarrhea, and skin problems. It is known to be anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antispasmodic, and is rich in antioxidant polyphenols.
