John Neustadt, ND ('05) brings 10 years of research and writing experience to HerbClip. He worked as a journalist for a monthly economics publication in Santiago, Chile and as an editor for El Mensajero, a Bay Area bilingual weekly. John also worked as a marketing and technical writer/manager for such companies as Microsoft, Boeing and two hi-tech start-ups. He transitioned into the natural products industry with his work as a project manager and writer for Salugenecists, a health informatics company, and as a researcher and writer for Natural Products Research Consultants (NPRC). He co-edited the Naturopathic Basic Sciences Board Study Manual (2003 edition). John graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a B.A. (honors) in Literature/Writing and from the University of Washington with a B.S. (honors) in Botany. A 2004 recipient of the Bastyr University Founders Award, John is pursuing his doctorate in naturopathic medicine, which he will complete this June. He and his wife, Romi, are expecting their first child.
John came to HerbClip at the recommendation of Don Brown, ND. He writes one of the FasTrak HerbClips each month.
