Herb Day USA, a national education event, has been postponed until the fall of 2004, organizers announced. The event, sponsored by a coalition of six leading botanical medicine organizations, had been scheduled for this fall.

The intention is to present consumers with accurate, contemporary, and useful information about the beneficial role of herbs in modern health care. The six organizations that make up the coalition are the American Herbal Products Association, American Herbal Pharmacopoeia, American Herbalists Guild, United Plant Savers, Herb Research Foundation, and American Botanical Council.
